A few years ago I visited my first pick your own farm on the NSW south coast as part of a family holiday. That same year, I organised a specific weekend in which we drove out to Young, picked cherries and enjoyed a weekend in the sun, eating and picking big red ripe cherries just in time for Christmas.

It was about this time, I realised that actually finding farms and orchards to visit which allow you to pick fruit was tough work. Knowing when to go, what was in season really meant picking your own fruit was more luck than planning.

Hence, www.pickit.com.au was created. After work and on the occassional weekend I have put this site together. I will try to continue to update the information based on updates, reviews and suggestions made by you.
