800 fig trees. 1st crop starts about 14th Dec and goes for about 3 weeks. The 2nd crop starts about 16th Feb and goes to about 25th April. Varities are Black Geona, White Geona and Brown Turkey. The Orange district has a lot to offer people that are looking for high quailty fresh fruits and wines. Make a day trip or book a motel and make a fantastic weekend that you will never forget. Wonderfull sites as well. Orange is about 3 hours west of Homebush Norland Fig Orchard at Borenore is 17klms west of Orange. |
